《 Spotlight on Japan in Toronto 》
1.Honoka
Kanten Canada, the only seller of agar in Toronto, has opened a stunning and elegant Japanese sweets shop!
Their flower-shaped cookies and cakes make perfect gifts, while their refined Kanten jelly cups and crystal candies are entirely plant-based and gluten-free.
Each product description tells a story, offering a glimpse into the rich history behind every treat.
Come and enjoy the beautifully crafted traditional Japanese sweets, filled with vibrant colors and cultural heritage!

2.Natural Japaneats
Daifuku is a traditional Japanese confection made by wrapping various sweet fillings in soft, chewy mochi.
The mochi rice used by Natural Japaneats, a macrobiotic-focused business, is sourced locally from Ontario. The variety of fillings are also handmade using fresh produce directly delivered from local farmers.
In addition, they offer healthy maki rolls that are gentle on the body.
Their offerings are so popular that they often sell out quickly at events! While they don’t have a physical store, you can find them at farmers’ markets across Toronto. They’ll also be at the JCCC’s New Year’s Festival on the 19th of this month—don’t miss it!
